 About Me

My name is Sarah, trail name Cookie. I am planning to thru-hike the Appalachian Trail northbound in 2023, and this blog documents those adventures.

I have always been drawn to the outdoors and loved hiking and camping. Why thru-hike the AT? Because it's there. Because nature recharges my soul. Because my first backpacking trip was on the AT, and I was immediately hooked. Because I can do hard things.
